Article 1 – Definitions
  • Entrepreneur: Aeroma Amsterdam, the V.O.F. (general partnership) offering products through the webshop.
  • Consumer: The natural person not acting in the exercise of a profession or business who enters into an agreement with the entrepreneur.
  • Agreement: The purchase agreement between the entrepreneur and consumer via the webshop.
  • Right of withdrawal: The possibility for the consumer to cancel the agreement within the cooling-off period.
  • Products: Scent diffusers, oils, and related items offered through the webshop.
Article 2 – Applicability
  • These terms and conditions apply to every offer from Aeroma Amsterdam and to every agreement concluded between Aeroma Amsterdam and the consumer.
  • The terms and conditions are accessible to everyone via the website. By placing an order, the consumer agrees to these terms and conditions.
Article 3 – The offer
  • The products are described as completely and truthfully as possible.
  • Small deviations in color or shape may occur, especially with natural oils.
  • Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind Aeroma Amsterdam.
Article 4 – The agreement
  • The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer via the webshop.
  • After ordering, the consumer will receive a confirmation by email.
Article 5 – Right of withdrawal
  • The consumer has the right to dissolve the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason.
  • During this period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care.
  • Opened or used products (such as oils) cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.
  • The costs of the return shipment are at the consumer's expense.

Article 6 – Obligations in case of withdrawal

  • In the event of a correct withdrawal, the full purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.
  • The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
Article 7 – Prices
  • The prices on the website include VAT and exclude shipping costs (unless stated otherwise).
  • Aeroma Amsterdam reserves the right to change prices.
Article 8 – Delivery
  • Aeroma Amsterdam ships within the Netherlands and potentially to other countries (if indicated on the website).
  • Delivery takes place within 2–5 business days after ordering, unless stated otherwise.
  • If delivery is delayed, you will be informed about this via email.
  • The risk of damage or loss lies with Aeroma Amsterdam until the moment of delivery.
Article 9 – Warranty
  • Aeroma Amsterdam guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and the stated specifications.
  • A warranty period of 1 year applies to diffusers under normal use.
  • The warranty is void in case of improper use or damage caused by your own actions.
Article 10 – Complaints procedure
  • Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be reported via email as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days after discovery.
  • Aeroma Amsterdam aims to handle complaints within 5 business days.
  • If the complaint cannot be resolved through mutual consultation, a dispute arises that is subject to dispute resolution.
Article 11 – Applicable law
  • These general terms and conditions and agreements are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
  • Disputes are preferably resolved through mutual consultation. If this is not successful, the court in Amsterdam has jurisdiction.
